We have given careful thought to a privacy policy. We are committed to keeping personal information accurate, confidential, secure and private. We respect your privacy choices and concerns. We understand the influence the Internet can have on a person, both for good and harm. If a person’s personal privacy is breached, that good is at risk. Therefore:

We collect personal information about you only when you make the choice to provide it, and we will not share or otherwise profit from the distribution of personal data beyond the use you entrusted it to us to fulfill.

We do not share personally identifiable information (name, address, and/or email address) about you with anyone unless you give us permission to.

Remember that your information travels to us via a secure third party processor. We have endeavored to work with third party processors who maintain strict standards.

In building a professional Coaching business, we have purposed that our privacy policy conform to the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information (CAN/CSA - Q830-06). The Ten Privacy Principles

Principle 1 - Accountability

G.E.Wood and Associates is responsible for all personal information under its control. Personal information disclosed via our website is processed by third parties who maintain their own strict standards of privacy. G.E.Wood does everything possible to comply with the following principles.

Principle 2 - Identifying Purpose

G.E.Wood and Associates will identify the purposes for which personal information is collected at or before the time the information is collected. Personal information will not be used for a purpose not previously identified without further individual consent, unless the new purpose is required by law.

Principle 3 - Consent

The knowledge and informed consent of the individual are required for the collection, use or disclosure of personal information, except where inappropriate.

Principle 4 - Limiting Collection

The collection of personal information shall be limited to that which is necessary for the purposes identified by G.E.Wood and Associatesit its Privacy Policy. In the case of our ‘Contact forms’ and ‘Newsletter Subscription form' we require a full name and email address in order to reply back to you. Any further information is given at your discretion.

Principle 5 - Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention

Personal information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected under the Privacy Policy, except with the consent of the individual or as required by law. Personal information shall be retained only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes and will be deleted at the request of the individual.

Personal information shall be as accurate, complete, and up-to-date as is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used.

G.E.Wood and Associates protects personal information with safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

Upon request, G.E.Wood and Associates will inform individuals of the existence, use, and disclosure of their personal information and shall be given access to that information. An individual shall be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of their information, and may request that it be amended, as appropriate.

Principle 10 – Challenging Compliance

G.E.Wood and Associates will respond to complaints or inquiries about practices relating to the handling of personal information.
